AI can draft a medication schedule in seconds. It should never be treated as final until you check it against the original instruction. Confirm-before-save is the safety layer: names, doses, timing, duration, and who can see status.
This guide is educational only. MedPlanner helps organize reminders. AI does not invent therapy — it proposes a schedule from what you said for you to verify. Follow qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
Treat AI output as a draft
Voice notes, pharmacy labels, and discharge lists are messy. A good system drafts structure quickly, then stops for human review. If anything is unclear in the source text, do not “fix” it with a guess — ask a professional. Related: templates vs AI setup.
Check medication names and doses
Every card should match the source spelling and dose. Look for swapped medicines, missing strengths, and units that look wrong. Ambiguity is a reason to pause, not to save faster.
Check timing and duration
Wrong clock times, missing end dates, and confused interval vs fixed-time logic are common draft errors. “Three times a day” is not automatically “every 8 hours.” Related: fixed-time vs interval and doctor instructions → schedule.
Check sequence and caregiver sharing
Multi-course plans should show which treatment starts after which. Caregiver access should be intentional — status visibility with consent, not silent oversharing. Related: sequential courses and caregiver monitoring.
Where MedPlanner already does this
MedPlanner shows preview cards before saving so you can catch mistakes, edit times or durations, and only then activate reminders in Telegram. That confirm step is the product difference between a helpful planner and a black-box alarm generator. Related: voice medication reminders.
Review before you save
Describe a plan by voice or text, inspect every preview card, edit what looks wrong, then confirm in Telegram.
